About The Role The Sr. NPI Advanced Quality Engineer leads the quality strategy for new product development projects, ensuring all deliverables are met from design through launch. Key Responsibilities Apply Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) using the Carrier Passport methodology to support the introduction of new products and processes—proactively safeguarding product quality, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. Ensure that plant teams are executing required quality activities—such as validations, audits, and documentation—according to plan. When gaps or delays arise, provide hands‑on support to drive resolution and maintain launch readiness. Lead and coordinate validation of processes, equipment, and fixtures (e.g., ProCert, MPR), ensuring full compliance with internal and external requirements. Serve as the quality gatekeeper for NPD milestones, confirming that all deliverables are met before advancing to the next development phase. Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supplier teams to embed quality into product and process design from the earliest stages. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). Master’s degree is a plus. Minimum 5 years of experience in quality, with at least 3 years in NPI or product launches. Proven experience applying APQP methodology in product and process introductions. Experience leading cross‑functional quality initiatives and managing quality‑related projects. Experience in manufacturing industries such as HVAC, automotive, or aerospace. Advanced knowledge of quality tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, 8D). Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills (8D, A3, DMAIC). Advanced English (spoken and written).
