Requirements Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting (required). 5 years of experience as a General Accountant. Experience in Shared Services environments (preferred). Intermediate/advanced English. Strong ability to supervise, develop, and motivate talent. Solid knowledge of accounting and tax regulations: NIF, ISR, IVA, DIOT, IFRS, with monthly and annual compliance. Inventory management: valuation, turnover, physical counts, and variance analysis. Internal control and compliance: control design and documentation, SOX (preferred), segregation of duties, and risk mitigation. Corporate reporting: preparation of financial packages, variance analysis, and adherence to global deadlines. Intermediate SAP proficiency. Advanced Excel skills. Responsibilities Lead the regional Accounting team, ensuring accurate execution of the full accounting cycle. Supervise, develop, and motivate the accounting team, setting priorities and delegating tasks effectively. Review and validate journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation. Execute and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes with accuracy and within corporate deadlines. Ensure compliance with NIF / IFRS, internal policies, and SKF global guidelines. Prepare and analyze financial reports, explain variances, and propose corrective actions. Collaborate with internal and external audits, as well as with Shared Services teams. Optimize accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and promote best practices.
