Position Purpose The role involves ensuring optimal inventory levels for store promotions based on sales expectations, analyzing inventory needs before promotions start, and providing insights for timely purchase orders. It includes identifying risks by reviewing SKU details against inventory at distribution centers and managing out‑of‑plan deals to support sales tactics. Coordination with Category Managers and the Replenishment team is essential to ensure inventory readiness. Primary Accountabilities Provide continuous, accurate and timely support to running promotions in the stores, closely reviewing store‑SKU combinations to guarantee optimal inventory levels according to sales expectations (lift) provided by the Promotions department. Analyze inventory needs before promotion start date using sales expectations from the Promotions department and merchandising inputs, providing insights to the Replenishment team so purchase orders can be made in a timely and adequate manner. Identify risks for upcoming promotions before the deadline established by the Promotions team, reviewing deals at SKU detail vs inventory at the distribution centers. With this analysis, potential changes can be made to flyer or other promotional resources to ensure maximum sales success probability. Manage and follow up on out‑of‑plan deals created to support sales tactics in any given moment of the fiscal year. This requires asking for feedback from Category Managers and the Replenishment team to ensure readiness and guarantee the deal's success from an inventory standpoint. Education & Experience Level of Formal Education: Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent. Area of Study: Industrial Engineering, Business, Computer Science. Years of Experience: Five to seven years. Type of Experience: Analytical, Basic Statistics, Excel data analysis, Continuous Improvement.
