Location Mexico – Guadalajara (AM) Job Overview Automate and support multiple infrastructure and deployment systems, driving process improvement, enabling engineering and operations teams to work smarter and faster. Collaborate with Product/Account Development teams to automate Configuration Management, Build, Release, Deployment and Monitoring processes, providing instruction on developed tools. Integrate and maintain continuity of code in partnership with IT and Development, offering a holistic view of working environments. Provide professional support for automations, respond to incidents to prevent outages, and ensure environments meet SLAs. Participate in the integration between product and non‑Amdocs infrastructure systems. Stay current with industry best practices and contribute ideas for DevOps improvements. Enable standard deployable units of infrastructure across multiple environments until production, adopting and implementing new technology throughout the account/product life cycle. Responsibilities Contribute to and support the automation of multiple parts of infrastructure and deployment systems, striving to improve and shorten processes. Collaborate with related Product/Account Development teams to drive automation of Configuration Management, Build, Release, Deployment and Monitoring processes. Provide instruction for the team on the developed tools. Work with IT and Development to create integration and continuity of the code, demonstrating a holistic view of the working environments. Support engineering and operations teams in meeting infrastructure needs. Provide professional support for the developed automations, respond to incidents to proactively prevent system outages, and ensure environments availability to meet SLAs. Participate in the integration between Product/Account infrastructure system and non‑Amdocs infrastructure systems. Stay up‑to‑date in industry best practices and contribute ideas for improvements in DevOps practices. Contribute to innovation through automation to enable standard deployable units of infrastructure across multiple environments until production. Adopt and implement new technology in account/product life cycle. Qualifications 1–2 years of experience with infrastructure‑as‑code and configuration‑as‑code tools such as CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack, Terragrunt, and Terraform. 2–3 years of script development experience in Python, Groovy, or Bash. Experience with CI/CD, configuration management, and automation tools (Jenkins, BitBucket, Nexus) and continuous deployment on cloud platforms (OpenShift, AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with third‑party tools such as Postgres, Cassandra, Helm, Groovy, Nagios, Liquibase, and Couchbase. Hands‑on experience in build, release, deployment, and monitoring of cloud‑based scalable distributed systems. Well‑versed in RedHat or other Linux distributions and familiar with ServiceOriented systems. Experience working in an agile development environment. 1–2 years of troubleshooting key life‑cycle management tools (BitBucket, Jenkins, Nexus, Artifactory, OCP, Sonar, AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
