Overview Finance Manager Location: San Juan del Río, Querétaro (on-site) Why this role matters We’re looking for a Finance Manager who keeps the numbers honest, up to date, and useful. This role is key to making sure our financial information is accurate, compliant, and ready to support real business decisions – not just ticking boxes. You’ll be the person who makes sure accounting records, taxes, and financial reports are done right and on time, while working closely with Corporate and supporting month‑end closes. The role You’ll manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, oversee tax compliance, and act as the main point of contact for audits and financial reporting. In short: you’ll keep our financial house in order and help the business move forward with confidence. Responsibilities Maintain accurate and timely accounting records across all company transactions Prepare financial records to support monthly and annual financial statements Record provisions, amortisations, and accounting depreciation, and track tax depreciation Manage and document audits, including preparing working papers and responding to information requests Calculate and file monthly local and federal taxes Prepare informational filings (payroll, salaries, DIOT, shareholders, and related reports) Reconcile and clean up general ledger account balances Prepare VAT (IVA) recovery requests Draft the annual corporate income tax (ISR) return Record and provision liabilities Prepare DIEMSE reporting Provide backup support for payroll and accounts payable when needed Coordinate with Corporate on accounting policies and transfer pricing information Support accounting and tax changes related to electronic accounting requirements Support the Controller during month‑end close processes Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA, Bachelor in Accounting, or final‑year student) At least 2 years’ experience in a similar accounting or finance role Solid knowledge of Mexican tax regulations and accounting practices Experience using accounting software and Microsoft Office Comfortable working with internal controls and compliance requirements English proficiency around 70% (you can communicate, not just read emails) A structured, detail‑oriented approach – and the ability to meet deadlines without drama Nice to have Recent tax or fiscal updates and training Experience working with corporate or multi‑entity structures Exposure to transfer pricing documentation What you’ll get A stable, hands‑on finance role with real ownership Close collaboration with Corporate and senior finance leadership A professional environment where accuracy and accountability matter Competitive compensation and benefits in line with experience Morgan Advanced Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
