The role involves building and maintaining a robust pipeline of new sales opportunities, engagement with merchants to drive DGN acceptance, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure the sales cycle is completed & is delivering key KPI’s in acceptance. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management. Major Responsibilities Identifies leads, develops proposals, responds to RFPs and negotiates agreements to Mexico merchants to maximize network acceptance. Strong negotiation skills to close deals. Strategically identifies and creates innovative business cases to win new merchant acceptance deals with internal stakeholder buy-in (Pricing, Risk, AML, etc...). Collaborate with internal teams and gather feedback from customers or prospects to identify, develop, and implement new sales opportunities. Develop strong relationships to maintain and grow account relationships with internal and external partners to meet volume and revenue goals. Participate in industry exhibitions and conferences. Work Experience 10+ years of sales experience within the Vertical Assigned (Airline, Hotels, Retail, Restaurant, Transportation, Travel Agencies, and Attractions), business development, contacts and connections. 5+ years of Payments industry Sales/business development experience, relationship management, strategy, operations, project management, planning, finance, consultative skills with proven experience building deep and influential relationships with key stakeholders, executive level clients and internal business partners. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in Spanish and English. Strong executive presence.
