We are currently seeking a SAP BASIS Team Lead to join our team in Mexican Republic, México (MX-MEX), Mexico (MX). Ntt Data is looking for a SAP Basis consultant to work with us in the Mexican market. Responsibilities Automation of routine manual processes to increase operational efficiency and reduce data obscurity Lead and drive solution discussions with business and IT personnel Design and develop interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems Manage OS/DB/Platform/Cloud migrations with experience in 2–3 projects Full life-cycle SAP implementations using a recognized methodology Provide expertise in SAP Business Suite (ERP, SRM, CRM, PLM, APO), NetWeaver stack (AS-Java), and BOBJ administration, including performance management, client/system refreshes, and other Basis tasks Advise customers on SAP migrations, implementations, and operations on Public/Private Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) Deliver Basis support for S/4HANA, C/4, BW/4HANA conversions, upgrades, migrations, RISE and OS/DB conversions Experience with Azure or other hyperscalers and related certifications Provide high-level DBA and SAP Basis support for HANA DB (implementation, upgrade, administration, operations, performance management) Install and configure SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, PO, SAP CPI, Cloud Connector, Solution Manager, and Data Hub on major cloud IaaS platforms Strong knowledge of S/4HANA, Fiori, and SAP-to-non-SAP integration Tune SAP performance and optimize system performance for SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA databases, and cloud environments Understand end-to-end processes and provide improvement recommendations Support technical architecture and development teams in migrations and upgrades Lead discussions, present ideas and complex technical content to diverse audiences, and interact with client management and users across countries Administer SAP databases (planning and performing upgrades, maintenance, backup/restore strategy, security, performance, storage, etc.) Perform SAP client administration (create/copy/delete/export/import clients) as required Participate in planning and implementation of SAP system upgrades Manage non-HANA DB administration and operations (Oracle, MSSQL, Sybase, MaxDB) with exposure to at least 2 non-HANA DBs Contribute to the SAP Technology Practice and SAP solutions Showcase expertise in cloud infrastructure architecture, including HA, disaster recovery, and monitoring Develop SAP S/4HANA technical architecture and cloud hosting strategies within hybrid IT and multi-cloud landscapes Design and deploy SAP solutions on major public cloud IaaS platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Provide implementation consulting for Single Sign-On solutions in SAP landscapes, including HANA and BOBJ Lead ad-hoc customer delivery meetings and drive continuous improvement in SAP technology services Qualifications Requires 10+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC Basis 1 SAP implementation full life-cycle experience Bilingual English/Spanish Travel and Education Travel: at least 80% Degree: Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent work experience Nice to Have SAP Activate knowledge, training and/or SAP certification Benefits Negotiable salary Grocery Tickets - 12% of base salary Saving funds - 12% of base salary 30 days Christmas bonus 12 days of vacations 50% Vacation bonus 5 personal days per year Medical insurance (you and your family) Life insurance Opportunity to grow in the company Note: This description reflects the responsibilities and requirements for the SAP BASIS Team Lead role.
