This role supports Private Destinations Mexico recruitment operations and talent acquisition team. The Lead will manage the recruitment activities of their respective functional areas and teams to ensure operational objectives are achieved. The Lead develops strong partnerships with HR Operations, HRBP, and the Brand to ensure alignment in hiring needs. This role will work onsite in Mexico City. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for the overall performance of the recruiters and managing team expectations in order to exceed goals and objectives. Analyzes the recruitment forecast to prepare and manage recruiter capacity and hiring velocity. Manages the daily sourcing and recruitment effort to ensure a healthy pipeline of talent is available for shipboard recruiting needs. Explores and keeps an eye on recruitment trends and effective practices in the market to capitalize on recruitment opportunities. Oversees hiring events and manages the recruitment event calendar; ensures all travel and hiring event activities are budgeted and expensed correctly. Assists with external recruiting within the assigned business unit for key leadership/management level roles, including sourcing passive candidates using sourcing tools, Boolean searches, networking, referrals and cold calling techniques. Leads presentations and calls with hiring leaders to showcase recruitment progress; conducts hiring manager training as needed. Ensures all recruitment policies, procedures and techniques are adhered to and recommends improvements. Monitors and maintains gap pool and external factors that may impact talent supply and recruitment strategies for their respective teams. Leverages data to provide fact‑based recommendations to improve overall recruitment performance, operational efficiency, and effectiveness. Coordinates with internal onboarding, scheduling and IT team to support day‑by‑day operational needs and seek process enhancement when possible. Provides new recruiter and refresher training to the recruitment team. Performs any other job‑related duties assigned by their supervisor or management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business or human resources or related field from an accredited college or university or the international equivalent. Minimum 7 years of recruitment experience. Minimum 2 years of related business intelligence experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 2 years of working experience in international hospitality and/or travel industry. Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently. Knowledge and Skills Exercises judgment and mentors team members to troubleshoot & resolve issues as they arise. Demonstrates consistent dedication to candidates, business leaders, hiring managers, recruiting team members and the broader team. Working knowledge of computers, Internet access, and the ability to navigate within a variety of Microsoft software packages such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of automated human resources systems preferred including JD Edwards. Knowledge of general concept of the shipboard organization preferred. Knowledge of world geography, time differences and demographics. Strong Excel skills required. Ability to analyze large datasets and report relevant findings. High attention to detail. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to solve complex problems with a variety of variables.
