Position Overview Our innovative and growing company is looking for an experienced Software Design Engineer . This project involves working as part of a highly technical and globally distributed development team responsible for designing cutting‑edge automotive products. As a member of the technical team, you will help meet or exceed the release objectives and expectations of our business partners and customers. Below is a list of responsibilities and qualifications for the role. Responsibilities Review code and design generated by others to ensure technical quality and compliance as per industry standards. Architect the software design of a complete embedded system. Write, debug, and test embedded C/C++ for automotive instrument cluster and HUD systems. Work with 32‑bit microcontrollers and analyze microcontroller manuals. Have working knowledge of real‑time operating systems and vehicle communication networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, LVDS, SPI, MOST, TCP/IP). Create software development documents and test specifications, including state, block, and sequence diagrams. Apply MISRA‑C standards and perform QAC checks to assure code compliance. Diagnose, root‑cause, and implement corrective actions for system issues. Approve peers’ software work products to ensure completeness and correctness. Prepare software releases for testing, integrate third‑party software components, and provide estimates for tasks. Support leadership in preparing reports and related documentation. Work independently and in a team environment, communicating clearly in verbal and written forms. Requirements Minimum 4 years’ experience developing & debugging real‑time embedded software in a high‑level language (C/C++) on POSIX‑compliant operating systems such as QNX, Android, AutoSAR, Integrity, or BSP/Device Driver Level development. Experience with automotive clusters, HUDs, or other HMI products and a proven track record of successful launches of automotive products. Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and SDLC management tools. Experience with requirements management/ALM tools. Working knowledge of in‑vehicle data networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, LVDS, SPI). Advanced English communication skills. Knowledge of MISRA‑C standards and vehicle communication protocols.
