We are looking for a AC Product Planning Specialist to join our team based in Mexico City (Polanco). About the Role Are you passionate about shaping product strategy and driving business growth across diverse markets? You will play a key role in defining and executing the Air conditioning VRV product strategy for Latin America. Working closely with customers, sales teams, technical experts, and global stakeholders, you will identify market opportunities, develop product roadmaps, and support the successful introduction of innovative solutions that meet regional needs. This is a highly visible regional role that offers the opportunity to influence product direction, collaborate across cultures, and contribute directly to the growth of Daikin’s business in Latin America. What You’ll Do Analyze market trends, customer needs, and business opportunities across Latin America. Develop regional product strategies and product roadmaps aligned with market demands and business objectives. Collaborate with global teams and factories to support product development, localization, and product introduction initiatives. Lead product launch activities and coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure successful market introductions. Work closely with sales, marketing, technical, and training teams to drive launch readiness and commercial success. Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the region and influence decision-making through data‑driven recommendations. Manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic international environment. What We’re Looking For Must Have Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 7 years of experience in HVAC, preferably in VRV/VRF, product planning, product management, sales engineering, marketing, or commercial functions. Experience in market analysis, product planning, business case development, and customer‑focused solutions. Strong understanding of HVAC products and applications. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively across multiple countries and functions. Professional proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal. Availability to travel within Latin America (approximately 25–40%). Nice to Have Experience with VRV/VRF products or HVAC‑related product functions. Experience working with multinational organizations or regional business environments. Experience in product introduction, strategic planning, or business development.
