Experience in data center hardware architectures, including servers, storage, and accelerators. Preferred qualifications Experience developing and integrating manufacturing hardware, including custom electronics, precision fixturing, and specialized instrumentation. Experience collaborating with and managing global contract manufacturing partners. Experience in root cause analysis (RCCA) for manufacturing yield issues and field. Responsibilities Build, optimize, and deploy Google data center hardware platforms (server, storage, networking, racks, and accelerators) across global manufacturing partners while shaping long‑term manufacturing strategies. Drive early engagement for New Product Introductions, partnering with NPI teams to define Design for Manufacturing (DFM) requirements and ensuring a seamless transition to sustaining operations. Provide high‑caliber product engineering support for both new and existing products to ensure consistent operational excellence. Analyze and resolve manufacturing yield issues and data center field escapes by driving Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) to closure with robust preventive measures. Collaborate with internal and partner engineering teams to enhance manufacturing efficiency, maximize test coverage, reduce costs, and manage product changes that improve overall performance.
