- Responsible for training process technicians on the specific mold process and training personnel on implemented modifications. - Document process changes and/or updates in procedures and the ERP system. - Manage, review, and support quality non-conformities related to improperly processed parts. - Implement engineering deviations or changes when necessary. Coordinate product rework activities. - Design fixtures according to process requirements and needs. - Maintain Efficiency Standards in the operation of each mold (SOP) and take the necessary actions to meet them. - Propose improvements to mold/tooling processes to make them leaner and eliminate waste. - Document new parts or components, bills of materials (BOM), and update or register them in the ERP system. - Support the implementation of visual aids according to production and/or quality requirements. - Maintain constant communication with Production, Quality, Toolroom, and Maintenance departments to ensure a stable and efficient process. - Apply continuous improvement in the analysis of Molding/Thermoforming processes, seeking efficiency improvements, scrap reduction, and cost savings. 3 to 5 years of experience in plastic molding processes or Plastic Injection Engineering. Development, monitoring, and implementation of improvements in KPIs. Knowledge of ISO 13485 / ISO 9001. Application and use of manufacturing tools such as KAIZEN, DMAIC, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SMED. Experience and knowledge in creating BOMs. Experience with CAD software: AutoCAD and Solidworks.
