We are looking for an operational-analytical MRO Buyer to join our Supply Chain team. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role managing high-volume purchases of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) materials. You will interact daily with Maintenance and Production teams, and your key strength will be the ability to balance urgency against cost—minimizing downtime while optimizing total cost. Key Responsibilitie Execute end-to-end MRO purchasing (spare parts, tools, consumables, services) from requisition to invoice, prioritizing emergency orders to minimize unplanned downtime Analyze urgent requirements to balance response time vs. cost, evaluating local alternatives, existing inventory, and expedited shipping Partner with Maintenance, Production, and Engineering to understand needs, prioritize critical purchases, and communicate lead times and supplier updates Manage supplier relationships and develop local sourcing alternatives to reduce lead times and mitigate risks Maintain SAP records (Purchasing Info Records) for high-runner parts with 100% accuracy Meet KPIs: 95% material availability, PO cycle time, and compliance (REPSE, import regulations) Manage obsolescence and resolve discrepancies using root cause analysis Experien ce1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply cha inManufacturing or industrial environment experience required (MRO preferre d)Proven experience managing high-volume SKUs and urgent/emergency purchas esHands-on experience with SAP MM module (purchase orders, info records, vendor maste r)Experience collaborating with Maintenance, Production, and Engineering tea msBackground in supplier negotiation, local sourcing, and KPI tracking #J-18808-Ljbffr
