Overview This role is charged with the responsibility of providing practical and commercially-focused compliance advice in regard to the Latin American operations, while managing relevant licence applications and ensuring that business conducts activities in a way which is compliant with all relevant license requirements. This includes acting as a liaison between the business and relevant regulators. Responsibilities Managing all licence applications and ensuring ongoing compliance of relevant licences held by the company. Advising and counselling the organisation on a wide range of compliance issues and regulatory matters associated with the commercial operations, with an emphasis on structuring and implementation of complex business projects; More generally, you will be responsible for identifying compliance issues, providing analysis of business/operational/compliance risks and creating and implementing solutions structured to achieve business objectives efficiently Coordinating with other members of the Legal and Compliance team on various aspects of legal and compliance matters arising. Managing regulatory audits and inspections that may arise from time to time Managing relationships with legal counsels as required Keeping abreast of developments in approaches to regulation Requirements A law degree, or other degree if a candidate has significant relevant work experience in the compliance area. Desirable experience in compliance in the gaming industry (whether in the private or public sector). Experience can also be in complex compliance industries. Required English and Portuguese.
