The Training & Development Specialist is responsible for administering core training processes for local IDL personnel, researching, proposing, designing, implementing, and conducting training and development programs. They also attend necessary training for hosting programs and collaborate with internal or external personnel. Responsibilities Key participant in conducting training sessions Key participant in testing trainees to evaluate and measure their learning process Collaborate on design and development of training and educational programs Key participant in coaching sessions for less experienced peers, furthering individual ability and skill in hosting training and development programs Qualifications University degree required (e.g., Bachelor's) or equivalent relevant work experience Team player able to work in a fast‑paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands Strong communication skills; oral, written, and presentation Strong organization, planning, and time‑management skills to achieve results Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity Self‑accountable to achieving goals and standards Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization, including suppliers and/or external customers Experience with training needs detection, training plan, and training measurement effectiveness Experience in design and administration of leadership programs Experience in self‑paced course design and creation (knowledge of course design tools such as Articulate) English proficiency for written and verbal communication Experience participating in audits (quality, ESH, customers) Note to applicants for positions in the United States: Sensata Technologies, Inc.
