What We’re Looking For We are looking for an Aeronautical Assembly Process Engineer with experience in aerospace manufacturing and assembly processes. This role is ideal for someone analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about operational excellence and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in ensuring assembly work instructions are accurate, standardized, and aligned with aerospace quality standards while acting as a technical bridge between engineering and production teams. Main Responsibilities Office Activities (50%) Create, update, and maintain assembly work instructions based on engineering and process changes. Ensure all documentation complies with aerospace OEM standards such as Boeing and Bombardier. Develop visual and technical documentation using CATIA, Composer, and PLM/MES systems. Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and production teams to validate assembly methods and technical feasibility. Document assembly sequences, tooling requirements, and key process parameters. Production Floor Activities (50%) Train and support operators on updated assembly instructions and process changes. Monitor production floor execution to ensure correct implementation of processes. Identify continuous improvement opportunities within assembly operations. Perform process audits and verify documentation accuracy versus real production practices. Act as a technical liaison between engineering and production to solve assembly deviations or issues. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields. 3–5 years of experience in aerospace assembly processes or advanced manufacturing. Strong CATIA skills (3D modeling, drawing interpretation, technical review). Experience using Composer for visual work instructions. Knowledge of GD&T, aerospace drawings, engineering documentation, and change management. Practical knowledge of: CNC machining, sheet metal processes, metallic assemblies Experience working with OEMs Intermediate to advanced English communication skills. Why Join ALTEN?
