Overview DeChant Law is a reputable criminal defense firm based in Denver, Colorado. Our firm specializes in a wide range of criminal defense matters, from DUI and drug offenses to assault and battery, and we are known for trust, transparent communication, and tenacious defense strategies. The Intake Specialist role is pivotal in transforming potential leads into committed clients, handling the intake process from initial contact to signing, and bridging the gap between prospective clients and our legal services to support growth and client satisfaction. What you’ll do Inbound Call Handling: Serve as the first point of contact by answering inbound calls and acting as both the receptionist and salesperson for the firm. Full-Cycle Intake: Own the process from the initial call through signing, ensuring every lead is maximized for conversion. Consultative Sales Execution: Use high-level consultative sales skills to build trust, conduct consultations, and guide prospective clients toward hiring the firm. One-Call Close: Focus on closing leads during the first call to prevent drop-offs and maximize conversion. Call Screening and Qualification: Determine case fit and either close the client or schedule further consultation with an attorney when needed. Spanish-Speaking Client Handling: Communicate with and support Spanish-speaking clients to help grow this strategic segment of the firm. Appointment Scheduling & Handoff: Schedule consultations on attorney calendars and ensure a smooth transition to the case management team after the client signs and pays. Script & Process Adherence: Follow and adapt to firm talk tracks, scripts, and intake workflows, contributing to a consistent and high-performing intake process. Intake-Only Focus: This role is strictly focused on intake and sales, with no case management responsibilities after the client is signed. What we’re looking for Law Firm Experience: Previous intake experience in a legal setting, with a preference for criminal defense. Bilingual Requirement: Fluent in Spanish and English, able to communicate clearly and professionally in both languages. Sales Ability: Proven track record in consultative sales, particularly with a focus on one-call closes. Emotional Intelligence: Strong empathy and communication skills to connect with clients in emotional states. Adaptability: Ability to follow and adapt scripts as needed to meet the demands of different situations. Remote Work Readiness: Able to work independently in a remote environment, maintaining consistent productivity, reliability, and clear communication without the need for close supervision. Availability & Schedule Alignment: This role is designed to extend coverage beyond traditional business hours. The ideal schedule is Saturday through Wednesday, with weekday hours of 12:00 PM–8:00 PM MDT. Weekend hours may be either 12:00 PM–8:00 PM MDT or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM MDT, with some flexibility (e.g., Sunday–Thursday workdays). Benefits Growth Opportunities: Directly contribute to the firm’s revenue and be pivotal in its expansion into new markets. Innovative Environment: Work closely with leadership and have a voice in refining processes and scripts. Autonomy and Impact: Manage your own intake cycle with the freedom to make impactful decisions. Leadership Exposure: Report directly to firm leaders, gaining insights and experience in strategic firm operations. Performance-Based Bonus: Monthly bonus tied to key intake KPIs, including conversion rate, revenue signed, one-call closes, and other performance metrics as defined by the firm. Firm-Observed Holidays: Paid time off aligned with the firm’s holiday schedule. Sick Leave: Provided in accordance with firm policy. Compensation: $1,500. #J-18808-Ljbffr
