Your Path to a High-Impact Healthcare Career Impact Advisors is seeking an experienced AWS Infrastructure Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions for our healthcare clients. This role is centered on deep AWS expertise, with opportunities to support broader cloud strategies where clients operate in hybrid or multi-cloud environments. Note: AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional) is preferred but not required. Equivalent experience and demonstrated expertise will be highly valued. What You’ll Do Design and implement scalable, secure AWS infrastructure solutions aligned to client business and clinical needs Develop reference architectures, landing zones, and multi-account strategies using AWS best practices Lead infrastructure modernization efforts, including data center migrations and hybrid cloud architecture Architect for high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity in mission-critical healthcare environments Support cloud enablement of EHR platforms (e.g., Epic), clinical applications, and ancillary systems Design infrastructure to meet HIPAA, HITRUST, and other regulatory requirements Collaborate with application, data, and security teams to ensure seamless integration across platforms Security & Compliance Implement AWS-native security controls (IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, etc.) Define governance frameworks, policies, and guardrails for enterprise cloud adoption Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory standards and internal risk frameworks DevOps & Automation Promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation Enable CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies Drive standardization and repeatability across client environments Client Engagement & Leadership Serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders (CIO, CTO, Infrastructure leadership) Lead technical workshops, architecture reviews, and roadmap development sessions Mentor junior engineers and architects within Impact Advisors Contribute to business development, solutioning, and thought leadership Who You Are Education & Experience 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 2–4 years focused on AWS cloud architecture Proven experience designing and deploying production-grade AWS environments Strong knowledge of AWS core services, networking, and high availability design Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar) Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments Experience working in regulated industries (healthcare strongly preferred) Strong communication and client-facing consulting skills Preferred Qualifications AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) or equivalent certification Experience with Epic EHR infrastructure or other major healthcare platforms Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS) Exposure to data platforms and analytics in AWS Experience with additional cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, OCI, GCP) in hybrid or multi-cloud environments Skills & Characteristics Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions Strong problem-solving and architectural design skills Ability to operate independently in a client-facing consulting role Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teams Commitment to quality, security, and operational excellence What You’ll Get Law Benefits: 15 days of year-end bonus (Aguinaldo) 12 days of paid vacation + vacation premium Paid public holidays Social security (IMSS) Above-the-Law Benefits: Major and minor medical insurance through Sofía Salud 5 vacation days before completing your first year Paid training and continuous mentorship #J-18808-Ljbffr
