About the Role As a Technical Consultant, you'll be at the forefront of designing, developing, and deploying critical technical solutions for our clients using AI tools. You'll collaborate closely with client project teams to tackle diverse challenges, with a strong focus on: Integration Mastery: Design and build robust integrations between Workday and a variety of vendor platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and operational efficiency. Develop detailed integration flow designs, mapping data transformations and system interactions. Troubleshoot and optimize existing integrations, ensuring performance and reliability. Technical Design & Implementation: Apply core design principles and data modeling techniques to create scalable and maintainable solutions. Follow project implementation methodologies to deliver successful project outcomes. Understand AI principles and how to use them in a professional environment. You'll leverage your expertise to translate client requirements into effective technical solutions, contributing to the success of Workday implementations. About You We're seeking a driven Technical Consultant who excels at translating complex customer needs into technical solutions and negotiating timelines. You'll manage technical workstreams, improve artifacts, and propose innovative ideas. You're adept at explaining complex concepts clearly and are a passionate problem‑solver, driving ideas from concept to implementation. A proactive self‑starter, you continuously seek new ways to deliver technical solutions and thrive in a collaborative team, leveraging technology to achieve business results. Basic Qualifications 2+ years of experience with data migration, integration development, report building, or software development, OR 2+ years of experience in Enterprise software implementations (ERP, CRM, etc.), OR 2+ years of experience with technical consulting, requirements gathering, or solution design, OR 2+ years of experience with programming in any procedural or POO language, OR 2+ years of functional Human Resource, Payroll, Financials, Supply Chain, or Student domain experience Other Qualifications Proficient skills with EDI, API REST, SOAP, XML, XSLT, JSON or other integration technology Experience designing dynamic reports (BIRT or Crystal Reports). Proficient skills with Workday integration technologies such as EIB, Document Transformation, and Workday Studio Proficient understanding of the complete software implementation lifecycle - including integrations requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and move to production 2+ years of experience through all stages of a project lifecycle including requirements gathering, integration design, development, integration testing, and move to production Experience leading a technical workstream on a software implementation Experience in the use of any AI and LLM tools (Chatgpt, Gemini, Cloude) Workday is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
