The Financial Analyst supports capital investment planning, financial analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This role provides financial insights to support decision‑making, ensures accurate tracking and evaluation of CAPEX and investment projects, and partners cross‑functionally to drive operational efficiency, cost control, and financial discipline. Responsibilities CAPEX management and reporting (30%) – Track, analyze, and report capital expenditure (CAPEX) execution across manufacturing operations; maintain accurate CAPEX databases and ensure alignment with approved budgets; monitor variances between planned and actual spending and communicate insights to stakeholders; support monthly and quarterly reporting related to capital investments. Investment project analysis and evaluation (25%) – Conduct financial evaluations of capital investment proposals using standard models; analyze NPV, IRR, payback period, sensitivity, and scenario modeling; build and maintain financial models to support business cases; prepare executive‑level summaries and recommendations for approval committees. Continuous improvement & cost savings analysis (20%) – Evaluate financial impact of continuous improvement (TCS) initiatives and cost‑reduction projects; quantify savings following corporate policies and track projected vs. actual benefits; partner with operations and Lean teams to validate savings and financial results; support data‑driven decision‑making related to productivity and efficiency initiatives. Financial planning & operational support (15%) – Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and monthly financial close activities related to CAPEX and projects; ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, internal controls, and audit requirements; support fixed asset inventory, tracking, and impairment reviews; provide ad‑hoc financial analysis to support operations and leadership. Cross‑functional collaboration & reporting (10%) – Partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams; support project milestone tracking from a financial perspective; participate in meetings and present financial insights in a clear, business‑focused manner. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. 2–5 years of experience in Financial Analysis, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments. Strong experience with CAPEX management and project financial evaluation. Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills. Advanced proficiency in Excel; SAP experience is a plus. Solid understanding of investment evaluation methodologies (NPV, IRR, payback). Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills. Ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights. High level of ownership, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
