Key Responsibilities As our Government Tenders Specialist , you will play a key role in driving KONE’s participation in public and private bidding processes. You will lead the end‑to‑end coordination of tenders, ensuring that all technical, commercial, and administrative requirements are met with accuracy and on time. You will analyze tender documents to identify key requirements and coordinate the preparation of proposals by working closely with internal teams such as sales, service, modernization, engineering, finance, and legal. You will ensure alignment between commercial terms, contractual conditions, and technical specifications while maintaining compliance with internal standards. You will actively monitor government procurement platforms to identify relevant business opportunities, assess feasibility, and communicate them promptly to the appropriate teams. Additionally, you will coordinate responses to market research requests, ensuring all submissions are complete, competitive, and aligned with business objectives. You will also be responsible for managing communications with contracting entities, including clarifications and Q&A processes, and ensuring proper documentation and timely submission of all requirements. Beyond execution, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of bidding processes by standardizing templates, implementing best practices, and reducing inefficiencies. You will perform post‑bid analysis to evaluate outcomes, identify success factors, and provide actionable recommendations to improve future performance. As part of your responsibilities, you will maintain accurate records of all tender activities, track key milestones, and prepare reports on pipeline status, probability of award, and results. You will also support internal training initiatives to strengthen organizational understanding of tender processes and requirements. In this position, you will be a critical link between strategy and execution, helping the organization capture new opportunities while ensuring structured, compliant, and high‑quality proposal delivery. Qualifications 2–4 years of experience in tender management, bidding processes, or a similar coordination role. Familiarity with public procurement processes and comfortable analyzing tender documents with technical, legal, and financial requirements. Highly organized and able to manage multiple deadlines, submissions, and stakeholders at once. Fluent in English and confident communicating with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders. Able to consolidate technical, commercial, and administrative information into complete and high‑quality proposals. Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance in documentation and submissions. Enjoys coordinating across teams such as sales, engineering, finance, and legal to drive results. Proactive in identifying opportunities and monitoring platforms for new business leads. Strong analytical skills to evaluate bid results and generate insights for continuous improvement.
