Join our team as: Senior Manager, Government & Public Affairs The Senior Manager, Government & Public Affairs will be responsible for designing, leading the implementation, and consolidating the company’s government relations and public affairs function. Acting as a strategic liaison between the organization and government authorities, regulatory bodies, industry associations, and other key stakeholders, this role will focus on mitigating regulatory risks, ensuring compliance, and creating favorable conditions for business operations and growth, aligned with the organization’s financial objectives. Key Responsibilities Define and lead the government relations strategy, ensuring ethical engagement aligned with the organization’s objectives across regulatory, social, fiscal, and environmental matters, with the goal of mitigating risks, ensuring compliance, and supporting business growth. Continuously monitor and analyze changes in Mexican legislation, assessing their impact on company operations and business performance, and provide timely strategic recommendations to the Finance organization and Executive Committee to anticipate risks and capitalize on opportunities. Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with industry chambers, trade associations, and civil society organizations to enhance the company’s positioning, influence key industry matters, and build partnerships that create value for the business. Oversee and coordinate external communication strategies that strengthen the company’s reputation in sustainability and corporate responsibility matters, while effectively managing crisis situations that may impact its public image. Ensure that all interactions with government authorities, organizations, and third parties are conducted in compliance with applicable laws and the highest ethical standards, safeguarding the company’s integrity and reputation. Prepare and present executive reports on regulatory risks and opportunities, providing clear and strategic insights to support decision-making and financial planning. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Law, International Relations, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field. 8–10 years of experience in Corporate Affairs, Government Relations, Public Affairs, or related functions. Strong knowledge of Mexican fiscal, environmental, and commercial legislation. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with fluency in both Spanish and English. Minimum of 5 years of experience in leadership or management roles. Fluent in English and Spanish. Availability to travel within Mexico and internationally.
