Filter Test Engineer The Filter Test Engineer (TE) is responsible for the development and release of new test solutions for BAW and SAW Filter products as they advance from development to production. The TE reports to the Test Engineering Manager and works with design, NPI and Test Sustaining to support engineering test requirements during the new product introduction process with the vision to optimize production testing as well. Responsibilities PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Designs, develops, and implements cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment. Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products. Plans the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Responsibilities of this position include supporting engineering test activities pertaining to engineering sample fulfilment of new filter product. Additionally, the TE will work on development of new test capabilities as well as optimization of existing manufacturing and reliability testing through automation. Liaison with design, NPI and Sustaining Engineering teams to support test requirements for new products through the support of new test capabilities Create probing recipes and test specifications to accurately and reliably screen engineering samples through product lifecycle Develop and release Multi-Site test solutions optimized for manufacturing phase Optimize existing test processes in characterization and reliability to improve efficiency and reduce costs through test automation Qualifications Required Experience and Skills BS in Electrical Engineering or Science The Following Traits Are Highly Valued Strong problem solving and innovative skills Strong knowledge of RF/PCB/Module design, simulation and verification Working knowledge of RF test and measurement equipment and simulation Working knowledge and design experience with Mixed Signal Test Instrumentation and methods Strong knowledge of RF and Mixed Signal Test Instrumentation and methods Background in lab testing including design and implementation of experiments Strong product engineering support skills for test debug in lab and in production line Understanding of wafer fabrication process is considered an asset Skyworks is proud to be an equal opportunity employer supporting diversity in the workplace. #J-18808-Ljbffr
