The EHS Technician is responsible for implementing and maintaining Environmental, Health, Safety, and Ergonomics programs at the YFIOS plant. Key responsibilities include identifying unsafe acts and conditions, managing RO storage and special waste, releasing workstations, conducting EHS training and monthly safety talks, and following up on EHS actions to ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements for employees, contractors, and suppliers. Responsibilities: • Conduct workplace assessments and ergonomic evaluations to ensure safe and compliant workstations. • Support and participate in the investigation of workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and corrective actions. • Perform routine safety inspections to identify unsafe acts and conditions, verify proper PPE usage, and ensure safe operation of mobile equipment, machinery, tools, and chemical handling processes. • Ensure Security personnel effectively perform assigned duties and comply with established security procedures. • Coordinate, train, and support all emergency response teams and brigades required by company standards, legal requirements, and applicable regulations. • Execute and maintain Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Management Systems. • Conduct risk assessments (JSA, PHIL), approve new machinery and equipment, and determine appropriate PPE requirements for each workstation while ensuring operational controls are implemented. • Ensure compliance with CTPAT requirements and related security standards. • Verify proper segregation, handling, and collection of special and non-hazardous waste. • Identify environmental aspects and impacts and establish appropriate control measures. • Track and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions related to EHS Management Systems. • Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of ISO management system documentation. Qualifications : Minimum 1–3 years of professional experience. Minimum 1–3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
