The PWS Engineering Group in Latin America provides fully engineered control system solutions for power plants in the Americas. The group focuses on installing and replacing plant control systems with Ovation DCS’s and offers engineering design, system integration, testing, and commissioning services to deliver comprehensive solutions to our customers. Responsibilities Design and implement hardware database, logics, graphics, and datalinks with minimal direction. Select hardware and software for project implementation under guidance. Review application documentation for quality, accuracy, and completeness. Work closely with project technical leaders to verify that project requirements are met. Collaborate with partners to meet project requirements and deadlines. Operate independently and proactively to solve technical problems using standard procedures, proposed modifications, and experience gained from previous assignments. Track project progress, budget performance, and risk assessment, issuing weekly reports. Execute project tasks and site services according to quality, delivery dates, and assigned budgets. Participate in project phases such as in‑house engineering, FAT, and SAT for solutions applied to power plant processes and applications (e.g., thermo, hydro). Qualifications Engineering degree in a related field. Minimum 8 years of experience with DCS or PLC/SCADA in industrial automation. At least 8 FAT and 8 commissioning projects completed. At least 4 technical lead roles with experience in turbines, factory acceptance tests, commissioning, and turbine start‑up operations. Proficient in English; Portuguese is a plus. Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to develop and maintain profitable, long‑lasting relationships with key accounts.
