A leading multinational company in its industry is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Specialist. What are we looking for? We are looking for our next Regulatory Specialist who will support the regulatory manager with day-to-day activities to achieve Company’s objectives and enable business growth and continuity. Key responsibilities Assure formula regulatory compliance with LATAM regulations (food additives limits). Review and approve artworks following regional regulations (food & beverages labeling regulations, Front of Pack Labeling Regulations, Nutrition Labeling, etc.). Review advertising and promotional materials according to regional regulations (consumer protection law, advertising & promotional regulations, kids restrictions) Give follow up to regulatory procedures (documents request of Health Authorities, sanitary registers in the region, power of attorney, letters, notifications, Certificates of Free Sale, etc.) Ensure regulatory approval for business initiatives Understand and answer regulatory requirements coming from LATAM Health Authorities Keep updated life cycle registration tool Develop tools to reduce regulatory workload and simplify day-to-day activities. Communicate regulatory risk to intermediate levels in the organization Required Knowledge & Experience • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in regulatory affairs, scientific affairs, compliance, or related technical roles within the food, dietary supplements, and natural health products industry. Strong knowledge of food law, nutrition policy, labeling regulations, ingredient compliance, and regulatory frameworks across Mexico and LATAM markets. Demonstrated understanding of the food and consumer health industry, including product lifecycle, commercialization processes, and regulatory risk assessment. Experience working with cross-functional teams such as R&D, Marketing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams in regulated environments. Ability to interpret evolving regulatory requirements and translate them into practical business guidance and risk mitigation strategies. Exposure to multi-country regulatory environments within LATAM is highly preferred Skills & Competencies. Advanced verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate regulatory requirements and technical information to cross-functional and non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulatory frameworks and assess business impact. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in fast-paced and dynamic environments. Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail. Demonstrated adaptability, collaboration, and interpersonal effectiveness across cross-functional teams. Ability to develop, maintain, and manage regulatory documentation with accuracy and compliance focus. Proactive mindset, sound judgment, and problem-solving capabilities. Continuous learning mindset with strong curiosity regarding evolving regulatory and industry trends. Ability to work independently while influencing and partnering effectively with internal stakeholders. Education Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Nutrition, Chemistry, or related scientific discipline required. Advanced studies or certifications in Regulatory Affairs, Food Law, or related areas are a plus. Languages Professional proficiency in English communication skills (written and verbal).
