Key Responsibilities 1. End-to-End Payroll Processing (weekly, biweekly, or semi-monthly as applicable) Calculation of earnings, deductions, variables, retroactive adjustments, terminations, and severances. Validation of incidents (attendance, overtime, bonuses, shifts, variable pay) with operational areas. CFDI payroll stamping, cancellations, and re-stamping according to SAT regulations. Payroll reconciliation against TRESS movements and accounting reports. 2. Social Security & Social Obligations Employee registrations, terminations, and salary modifications via IDSE; SUA management for contribution calculations. Determination and payment of IMSS, INFONAVIT (including amortizations), and FONACOT. Accurate integration of the Daily Integrated Wage (SBC), variables, and exempt/taxable concepts. Support during audits (IMSS, SAT, internal/external) and preparation of working papers. 3. Legal Compliance & Internal Controls Application of LFT, LSS, CFF, SAT requirements, and IMMEX/maquila guidelines when applicable. Maintenance of SOX controls, risk matrices, stamping logs, and payment evidence. Updating payroll and social security policies and procedures. 4. Internal & Corporate Support Employee support (receipt clarifications, certificates, credits, disabilities, pensions). Interaction with corporate teams (reports, KPIs, month-end close, audits, ad-hoc queries). Coordination with Finance and Accounting for accruals, journal entries, and closings (payroll-to-GL). 5. Optimization & Continuous Improvement Parameterization and advanced use of TRESS (layouts, catalogs, formulas, validations). Proposals for automation (e.g., Excel macros) and process standardization. Monitoring of regulatory changes and impact assessment (SAT, IMSS, STPS). You will be reporting to the company's HR Management. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field. Experience: 5+ years in payroll and social security within the maquiladora sector, supporting 1,000+ employees. Systems: TRESS – mandatory (2+ years of hands-on experience: catalogs, incidents, stamping, reporting). Tools: Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, logical functions; macros desirable). Legal Knowledge: Strong command of LFT, LSS, ISR (wages & salaries), CFDI payroll, SUA, IDSE, INFONAVIT, FONACOT. Language: Intermediate–advanced English (ability to communicate with corporate and auditors). Availability: For payroll closings, audits, and operational peaks. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of IMMEX/maquila (costing practices, bonuses, shifts, cafeteria, transportation). Experience with ERPs (SAP/Oracle) for payroll-to-accounting reconciliation. Experience handling disabilities, work risks, and pensions with IMSS. Experience with multiple legal entities and unionized environments. TechnicalCompetencies High‑accuracy payroll and social security calculations in high‑volume environments. SUA & IDSE: error-free movements and autodeterminations. CFDI stamping: validations, cancellations, and re-stamping compliant with PAC/SAT. SBC integration and proper treatment of exempt/taxable concepts.
