Job Overview In this role, you help the CPRM team analyze the commodity market and develop best‑practice tools to forecast market prices. Key Responsibilities Conduct monthly commodity analyses using the latest supply and demand data and best‑in‑class market price forecasts. Support the CPRM team in developing price risk management coverage strategy decisions. Improve constraint optimization to develop new, future‑focused price models and long‑range price forecasts. Track the CPRM team’s KPIs. Provide competitive intelligence from external markets, business and industry engagement. Analyze fundamental factors such as supply, demand, production costs and competitive feedstocks. Analyze macroeconomic factors, including forex, political activity and speculative community impacts. Collaborate with the CPRM Research Specialist to challenge analysis and ensure coherence. Develop price forecasts and budget prices. Identify commodity risks and propose mitigation strategies using the Mondelēz hedge toolbox (futures, options, OTC markets) in compliance with regulations. Execute exchange‑based trades and guide regional & BU procurement teams on physical trades. Administer approved coverage and price hedging strategies globally, ensuring compliance with best practices. Support financial reporting of all trades in combination with regional & BU reporting on physical coverage. Desired Skills & Experience Agricultural commodity research and commodity markets. Analysis methods in an international environment. Building market intelligence databases and developing sustainable, forward‑looking price models. Make‑or‑Buy and end‑to‑end analysis. Mathematical and Excel expertise and/or knowledge of artificial intelligence. Strong communication: written, verbal, listening. Strong analytical, planning and execution skills with high results orientation. Education & Certifications Risk Management / trading background, preferred experience in energy & packaging upstream markets. Business experience of at least 5 years in Commodities/Risk Management. Preferably experience within the FMCG business. Fluent in spoken and written English; other languages (e.g., Spanish) are an advantage. Additional Qualifications Passion for commodity markets.
