You will drive the UX vision, design strategy, and interaction patterns for key product areas including eTIMS, mobile enforcement tools, and curbside management solutions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Customer teams to create intuitive, accessible, and scalable user experiences that address complex municipal workflows. You will be hands-on in design execution while also mentoring other designers, influencing product direction, and establishing best‐in‐class design standards across the organization.**Job Description:**# Responsibilities**Design Leadership & Strategy*** Own and articulate the UX vision and long-term design strategy for Trellint’s product ecosystem.* Define design principles, patterns, and frameworks to ensure cohesive, consistent experiences across all user touchpoints.* Drive early-stage conceptual exploration through interaction models, prototypes, wireframes, and user journey mapping.* Advocate for UX best practices, research-driven design, and data-informed decision making across teams.**Product & Experience Design*** Lead the design of complex workflows, data-heavy interfaces, and multi-device experiences for municipal and field‐operations users.* Partner with product managers to translate requirements into intuitive, user-centric solutions.* Produce high-fidelity UI designs, interaction patterns, and documentation that support R&D implementation.* Conduct usability testing, customer interviews, and observational research to validate designs and refine experiences.**Cross-Functional Collaboration*** Work closely with Product Managers and R&D team to ensure design feasibility, quality, and alignment throughout development.* Partner with Customer Care, Sales, and Operations to understand pain points and advocate for design improvements across the product suite.* Facilitate workshops and design reviews to bring clarity, structure, and rigor to product planning and development.**Design System & Standards*** Lead the expansion and governance of Trellint’s design system to support scale, reuse, and visual consistency.* Define UI patterns and accessibility standards appropriate for enterprise SaaS and field‐operations interfaces.**Continuous Improvement*** Stay current on industry trends, enterprise UX patterns, mobile design innovations, and accessibility standards.* Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and overall product usability.# Essential Skills and Experience* 8–12+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with at least 3 years in a senior, lead, or principal design role.* Deep expertise designing enterprise SaaS products, workflow-heavy applications, or operational tools.* Demonstrated ability to translate complex operational processes into intuitive and efficient user experiences.* Mastery of modern design tools (Figma, etc.) and prototyping methods.* Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design ownership, systems thinking, and measurable impact.* Excellent communication and facilitation skills across technical and non-technical audiences.* Experience collaborating closely with product managers and software engineers in an agile environment.* Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design best practices.* Experience in parking, curbside management, transportation, or municipal operations preferred.* Ability to travel up to 15% in the US for customer visits, onsite research, and team workshops.# About YouYou are a visionary, strategic, and detail-oriented designer who excels at solving complex problems with elegant, user‐centered solutions.
