SWIVEL is seeking a talented individual to create and maintain test cases, test plans, and test suites for SWBC's client-facing applications and supporting processes. Builds out test automation for continuous regression. In this role, you will join a friendly and diverse group of professional Test Automation Analysts within an enterprise-level Agile environment building, designing and creating automated test scripts for financial web applications and their APIs using Selenium, Soap UI, Postman. Basic coding experience using C# or Java, or Java script is necessary. SWBC utilizes cutting edge technical tools and offers continued growth in software testing and Agile SDLC practices. Essential Duties Builds test cases, test plans, and test suites. Designs and creates automated test scripts (Web, API, and Microservices) as part of an application test suite. Manages manual and automated test management tool and executes them in CI/CD tool (Azure Dev exp is preferred). Collaborates with business partners, product owners, and developers to ensure testing strategy will satisfy all acceptance criteria and development outcomes. Performs ad-hoc and exploratory testing to find issues outside of normal use. Tests application features against performance expectations and baselines. Tests applications for common security vulnerabilities. Creates and maintains test data that will allow for all aspects of a test to be fulfilled, either through the application or directly with the data source. Performs other duties as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field from an accredited college or four-year university OR equivalent experience. Minimum of three (3) years of experience. Extensive experience with static testing, system testing, regression testing, functional testing, non-functional testing, ad-hoc testing, and performance testing. Experience testing web applications and creating automated test scripts using Selenium (preferred in C#). Experience in automating API (Rest services) through Postman or Soap UI. Experience in Java script or Groovy script while automating API. Experience in test management and CI CD tools (Azure Dev ops is preferred). Experience in cross-browser testing using tools like Browser stack. Experience with Agile SDLC practices via Scrum and/or Kanban preferred. Proficient Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Excellent organizational skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Deep understanding of testing fundamentals, including requirements traceability, defect management, defect analysis, injection and detection analysis, defect remediation. Basic understanding of relational data models. Familiar with test management and defect reporting tools, like TFS, JIRA, Fogbugz. Demonstrate initiative and innovation. Able to remain up to date on the latest testing methods and technologies to produce high-quality software. Basic understanding of SQL databases. Experience in C#, Java, or similar programming language. Basic understanding of AWS cloud is preferred. Basic development skills. Physical: Able to sit for long periods of time performing sedentary activities. Able to stand, stoop, kneel to file for long periods of time. Able to push, pull, and lift up to 20 lbs. of files, supplies, documents, or other related items.
