KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead, develop, and manage the Engineering team by setting priorities, allocating resources, and ensuring achievement of departmental objectives. Promote a culture of operational discipline, urgency, continuous improvement, and accountability. Own manufacturing process performance, ensuring standardization, stability, and capability to meet quality and productivity targets. Maintain critical documentation such as work instructions, process sheets, and specifications. Lead NPI projects, ensuring successful product launches from prototype to full production. Coordinate tooling, equipment, and validation activities, delivering key outputs such as PFMEA, Control Plan, and Process Flow on time. Support quality issue resolution (defects, scrap, rework, customer complaints) and implement effective, sustainable corrective actions. Drive improvements in key metrics such as FPY, Yield, and defect reduction. Implement productivity improvements using Lean tools (Kaizen, SMED, VSM, line balancing), reducing cycle time, downtime, and variation. Lead cost reduction and process optimization initiatives. Manage CAPEX projects including equipment selection, ROI analysis, procurement, installation, and commissioning. Implement automation solutions and define technical standards for equipment and tooling. Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Planning to ensure plant performance. Participate in audits, customer visits, and corporate projects while aligning with global standards and best practices. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related field) required. Master’s Degree preferred. Minimum 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in automotive, electronics, cable, harness, or connector industries. Minimum 3+ years of experience leading technical teams. Proven experience in NPI / product industrialization and process development. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes for electrical assemblies and cable products. Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, APQP/PPAP (as applicable). Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing tools and structured problem-solving methodologies. Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, BOMs, and technical requirements. Experience with manufacturing test systems and validation methods. ERP experience (SAP preferred). #J-18808-Ljbffr
