The Role Coordinate, implement, manage, and validate the installation, operation, programming, and maintenance of PLCs, PanelView systems, and robots within the plant. Lead the development of new applications, systems, and equipment based on business needs, and oversee the integration of technologies, equipment, and subsystems. Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of existing plant facilities. What you’ll do Implement the installation of SCADA systems. Validate and release integrations between plant equipment. Validate and release new process equipment and instrumentation. Coordinate preventive maintenance (PM) for PLCs, PanelView systems, and robots. Maintain and program SCADA software. Program PLCs and HMI panels according to requirements. Program robots based on operational needs. Audit performance and maintenance of control and automation equipment across areas. Evaluate suppliers related to control systems, automation, and facilities. Control and maintain ISO 9000 system documentation. Develop KPIs and metrics for proper preventive maintenance of automation and control equipment. Generate purchase requisitions for materials and services related to plant systems. Design and coordinate new integrations, process improvements, and equipment upgrades. Lead the development and construction of new equipment and system updates. Coordinate and train the Control & Automation technical team. Provide support and maintenance for backup systems (VSS). Maintain updated backups and programs for plant automation systems. Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 quality standards. Understand and comply with ISO 14001 environmental requirements, including emergency response and authority to stop activities that impact the environment. Support HPT strategies. Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety procedures. Report and stop unsafe conditions or activities. Participate in occupational health and safety incident investigations.
