Job Summary Coordinate the plant’s (KDM l) imports and exports to ensure they are carried out in a timely and proper manner, ensuring compliance with all foreign trade regulations, as well as the department’s SOP and the procedures documented and implemented by Kinetek de Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. Responsibilities Import:Daily review and update of the KDM Milenium floor report shared by Protrans. Monitor and provide feedback on urgent requests reports from the Supply Chain team regarding requested imports. Update incident reports to identify supplier non‑compliance with routing guide requirements. Update the database with part number information classified by the Almanza classification team. Download and review the weekly incremental report, including comments on import invoices declared in consolidated customs declarations. Coordinate urgent imports with the ProTrans, Almanza, and LV teams. Ensure correct classification of materials for proper importation. Coordinate with the Customs Broker to open customs declarations in a timely and proper manner. Generate import invoices in the Annex 24 system. Coordinate with the Customs Broker to submit necessary documents for definitive and temporary imports. Review and approve A1 customs declarations. Generate MVE prior to payment for final and temporary customs declarations. Provide import invoices to the Receipts team. Maintain records of IN and A1 import operations. Verify and review each physical and digital file against a checklist. Export:Prepare land and air shipment export documents, including packing lists, commercial invoices, letters of instruction for the customs broker, air waybills, and bills of lading. Review documents shared by the shipping department to ensure necessary export information is available. Issue invoices in the Annex 24 system. Send invoices to the Customs Agent / Broker for review. Maintain records of A1 and RT export operations. Verify and review each physical and digital file against the checklist. Requirements Knowledge of foreign trade regulations, including the General Rules of Foreign Trade and current customs laws. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Annex 24 and Annex 31 systems, and ERP. Knowledge of Mexican and U.S. tariff classification, USMCA analysis, free trade agreements, rules of origin, and market regulations. Experience with U.S. customs regulations (shipments, hazardous materials, wooden pallets) of at least 3 years. May require vocational or technical education.
