Position Summary Responsible for implementing and maintaining Industrial Safety, Health, Environmental, and Security programs to ensure compliance with legal regulations, international standards, and company policies, while promoting a safe and healthy workplace Key Responsibilities 1. Safety & Health Management Implement Industrial Safety and Health programs to prevent risks and unsafe working conditions. Ensure compliance with legal requirements from local, state, and federal authorities. Coordinate and ensure effective operation of the Safety and Health Committee. Develop, update, and implement Emergency Response and Contingency Plans in coordination with government authorities. Risk assessment process experience High risk work permits Knowledge 2. Environmental Management Monitor and audit handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials to ensure regulatory compliance. Support ISO 14001 implementation and internal/external audits (e.g., BSI). Coordinate recycling programs and environmental initiatives. 3. Permits & Regulatory Compliance Manage and update operational permits and licenses with government authorities. Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and health legal standards. 4. Equipment & Risk Prevention Coordinate evaluations and recommendations for the purchase of PPE and safety/environmental control equipment. Ensure proper implementation of preventive measures across all departments. 5. Security & Asset Protection Supervise and coordinate security personnel (guards). Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and programs such as CTPAT/OEA. Design and implement inspection routes to maintain order and asset protection. 6. Reporting & Continuous Improvement Report safety metrics and performance to corporate (Japan). Support the development of organizational culture related to safety and compliance. Education Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field Experience Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Safety & Security Supervisor role Technical Skills Strong knowledge of Safety & Health legal requirements and regulatory processes Strong knowledge of Security compliance standards (CTPAT/OEA) Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Intermediate English level (90%) #J-18808-Ljbffr
