Job Description Production Control Mgmt 2 Responsibilities Develop and implement the company's production control functions, including master scheduling, production planning/coordination, shop scheduling and dispatching, material requirements, planning systems, work-in-process tracking, material and labor variance controls, and manufacturing performance reporting. Manage the activities of the team and is responsible for staffing decisions, training and development, and performance management of the staff. Approve quantities, schedules, and parts lists provided to the material control organization to ensure timely and complete ordering, receipt, and issuance of production material requirements. Plan, review, and develop production procedures and personnel. May coordinate activities with materials function using enterprise resource planning systems. Maintain reports to reflect scheduling, methods, support performance and process procedures. Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Coordinate the production program in assigned area(s), utilizing sales forecasts, customer orders, and independent demand requirements to ensure compliance with different client requirements and product demands through efficient use of available resources: material, labor, methods, and equipment. Ensure efficient communication with internal team and customers, addressing their needs and requirements. Monitor finished product inventory to ensure necessary quantities and avoid excesses. Provide immediate response to internal contacts and customers regarding material availability, production and shipping dates, and alignment of shipment dates with customer requirements. Ensure the production plan is provided in a timely manner and monitor daily performance. Ensure the team follows established processes and procedures. Coordinate weekly meetings with buying, operations, and planning teams to review information presented to clients in run rate and client meetings. Coordinate commits to clients according to established frequency. Provide analysis of CTB, simulations, and what-if scenarios when required by management or client. Provide root cause analysis of CRSD, BTO, and metric failures to client. Drive continuous improvement in key metrics and achievement of organizational objectives. Support commercial needs of clients using standard processes when possible and customized solutions when needed. Strong time management skills, ability to perform multiple tasks, and meet deadlines; handles multiple projects. Qualifications Minimum education: University level or completed degree, or equivalent professional experience in the position. Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar position. Hetero: Bilingual preferred.
