Product Strategy Manager – Automotive We are looking for a Product Strategy Manager to lead product competitiveness and portfolio strategy for the Mexican automotive market. This role is highly focused on competitive intelligence, product benchmarking, and future product opportunity identification , acting as a key interface between local teams and global HQ. Position Objective Drive product competitiveness by leading market-driven product strategy , including benchmarking, portfolio gap analysis, and future product planning to ensure strong positioning, profitability, and market share growth in Mexico. Key Responsibilities Lead competitive benchmarking analysis vs key OEMs across segments Identify portfolio gaps and future product opportunities based on market trends and customer insights Define product positioning, feature strategy, and value propositions aligned with competition Develop data-driven recommendations for HQ regarding product specifications, trims, and pricing positioning Build product business cases and market forecasts to support new product decisions Track market trends, TIV evolution, and competitor movements Act as the key interface between Mexico team and global HQ Support pricing strategy through competitive intelligence and profitability analysis Requirements 5–8+ years of experience in Product Planning / Product Strategy (Automotive) Strong experience in: Competitive benchmarking (JATO, IHS, internal tools) Product positioning and portfolio analysis Pricing support and market competitiveness Solid understanding of the Mexican automotive market Experience working with global / HQ teams Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset Advanced English required Experience with EV products is a plus What We’re Looking For Strategic thinker with strong market and product insight generation Ability to translate data into clear product recommendations Strong stakeholder management across local and global teams High ownership, adaptability, and execution mindset
