Job Summary The Mechanical Engineer will contribute to the development of new products; work in a cross‑functional environment with electrical, controls, & other development groups; manage a variety of tasks and activities in this dynamic environment; and solve complex problems related to liquid cooling for servers and data centers. Responsibilities Creates/modifies mechanical Parts/Assemblies/drawings in CAD systems, such as Creo and/or Solid Edge. Creates and maintains Bill of Materials and unit configurator logic to select the correct BOM's based on options selected by the customer. Works with Marketing, Manufacturing, Service and Quality to understand their requirements to design a product that best meets all their needs. Assists with prototype builds by providing technical support and guidance when issues arise. Gathers feedback from prototype builds and field trials and implements appropriate improvements to the product. Understands the products, suggests ideas and improvements. Assists with troubleshooting of escalated or recurring field issues. Requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering or product development adjacent degree with extensive experience. 2+ years of engineering product development or support experience. Fluency in English required (read, write, and speak). Basic working knowledge of mechanical and electrical concepts, products, and safety. Proficiency with mechanical CAD tools - Creo, Solid Edge, or Solid Works. Experience with sheet metal, piping and assemblies is a plus. Creates and revises drawings and bills of materials. Change order management and data‑entry systems familiarity - Oracle, Agile, etc. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve (and prevent) a wide range of problems quickly and methodically. Detail oriented. Excellent planning, organizing, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to multitask and operate in cross‑functional integral development teams.
