The EHS Supervisor is responsible for leading Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and risk management, and Sustainability at the MTC site. This role ensures the protection of employees, facilities, and the environment while maintaining full compliance with local regulations and global standards. This is a critical on‑site position, requiring direct interaction with operations, real‑time decision‑making, and accountability for regulatory compliance, legal obligations, high‑risk activities, and emergency response. Legal & Regulatory Compliance Act as the site EHS representative before authorities (JMAS, STPS, SERMARNAT, PROFEPA, COFEPRIS, Civil Protection) Manage environmental permits, water discharge, and health registrations Ensure compliance with Mexican NOMs and applicable regulations Coordinate inspections, audits, and regulatory reporting Safety & Risk Management Authorize high‑risk activities (LOTO, confined spaces, chemical handling, machinery operations) Conduct risk assessments and ensure preventive controls Oversee use of PPE and safe work practices Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions Environmental Management Monitor emissions, wastewater, noise, and workplace conditions Ensure proper hazardous waste handling and compliance Manage environmental reporting and studies Emergency & Incident Response Lead emergency brigades and response coordination Ensure preparedness through drills and training Minimize risk and operational impact during incidents Operational Support Conduct regular safety inspections across the site Support contractor compliance and supervision Provide EHS input in construction projects, facility layouts, and new processes implementation Governance & Collaboration Participate in key committees Support integration of EHS into business decisions YOUR BACKGROUND Industrial, environmental, or related engineering 3–5 years of experience as EHS supervisor Experience with government procedures and plant closures (essential) Intermediate to advanced English Proficiency in Microsoft Office WHY JOIN US?
