Open to LATAM, Philippines & Central/Eastern Europe BuiltADU is hiring a fully remote Construction Estimator to support our U.S.-based construction projects in Southern California. This role is ideal for international candidates with experience estimating U.S. residential construction or strong exposure to U.S. plans and standards. About BuiltADU BuiltADU specializes in installing manufactured and modular homes across Southern California. We also work with private clients and local municipalities on repair and remodel projects, ranging from small residential jobs to larger multifamily scopes. Responsibilities Preparing detailed takeoffs and cost estimates for U.S. residential and light multifamily projects Reviewing architectural, structural, and site plans Developing accurate pricing with strong cost awareness Supporting project teams with clear, well-structured estimates Using modern tools, including AI (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.), for research and pricing support Qualifications Strong proficiency with Bluebeam (required); AutoCAD is a plus Ability to read and interpret construction drawings independently High attention to detail and consistency with numbers Fluent written and spoken English (Spanish is a strong plus) Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision Work Setup 100% remote Must be available during Pacific Standard Time (PST) business hours Open to candidates based in LATAM, the Philippines, or Eastern Europe Stable internet connection and reliable communication required Compensation Competitive, based on experience and region Paid monthly or hourly (to be discussed) Long‑term opportunity for the right candidate Detail-oriented and organized Resourceful and proactive Strong written and verbal communication Comfortable working with deadlines and a fast‑moving team If you’re an experienced estimator outside the U.S. looking for a long‑term remote role working on American construction projects, we’d love to connect.
